This group is for fans of foreign films, independent films, arthouse cinema, short films, cult movies, documentaries, classic movies, and underappreciated cinema from the past. Hello, I am G. Allen Mack, new organizer for the PFAVMUG.  The purpose of this meetup group is to bring together local producers, cinematographers, editors, actors, screenwriters, and other technical media people in the surrounding Pearland area to learn more about independent film making, pursue independent film projects, gain more exposure to the Texas film industry, and to enjoy the experience of film making and all it encompasses.  

CINE Film Group is still a group where filmmakers can get together and make films, but we also feature a major educational component. There are several other really good film groups here in Houston that focus on making films but none whose primary goal is education.
